Hi! Welcome to my little site.

As you're probably aware by now, my name is Vanessa Duncan, and I'm a photographer!

I first got into photography playing around with my parent's old point-and-shoot film camera. I'd go through roll after roll taking pictures of my friends, cats, and eventually started taking pictures of every day things - because the lighting was just right, or the way objects lined up in the frame made for a pleasing image.

Eventually, that point-and-shoot wasn't cutting it. I needed more control over what I was shooting. I invested in an SLR film camera, and took a photography course in high school. I got to learn different aspects of lighting, composition, exposure, and focus. I even learned how to develop my own film!

As my passions grew, I decided to adapt to the digital world and started sharing my craft to others.

I've worked on film sets doing Behind the Scenes stills, weddings, corporate websites and events, maternity/baby, and love to do nature photography on the side.

I like to think of myself as a serious hobbyist who loves to provide others with gorgeous photography in simple packages that fits tight budgets. I work on-location wherever you need me!
